Behind-the-Scenes

Meet Anne-Sophie Brieger, VP of Operations

Q: What do you do?

Chief Juggler. I ensure (with Natalie, our office manager) that nothing falls through the cracks, everyone has a smile on their face, and the studio runs smoothly. Operations = GSD = Get Stuff Done!

Q: What did you want to be when you were growing up?

Ballerina/Prime Minister/foreign correspondent (not necessarily in that order).

Q: I can’t live without…

Deep belly laughs, travel, a kitchen to cook in, and a quiet space to retreat when things get chaotic.

Q: Who do you admire most?

No one person. It changes daily, from the homeless person by my place to my mom and dad to the kids in my yoga class. Everyone has a story to tell and I am grateful to hear it.

Q: What is your idea of fun?

Outdoor dinner party with family and friends, lots of laughs, and good food and tunes.

Q: Favorite toy growing up?

LEGO and my two checkered-fabric rag dolls, “Anne” and “Sophie.”

Q: Best thing about kids…

What you see is what you get! They are present and tell it like it is. I learn a ton about myself when I’m around kids.

Q: Sago Mini is magical because…

… of the people, and because of the stuff we make. Where else can you have conversations about exploding cupcakes, farting planets and revenue targets?

Q: Would you travel to outer space if you could? Why or why not?

For sure! Always good to see the world from a different perspective.

Q: Best advice:

Never say never. Be open to opportunities and try everything at least once.

Q: Best parenting tip:

Pick your battles!

Q: Hidden talent:

I can turn found objects into arts and crafts projects. Think Kleenex flowers!

Q: Best childhood memory:

Summer beach vacations playing in the waves, collecting seashells, and making sand forts.

Q: Sago Mini is…

Magical. It’s hard to put in words the secret sauce that describes our team and our products. Hearing little kids laugh during play testing sessions is hard to beat.
