Holiday Trucks and Diggers - Letter to parents

Build the snow fort of your dreams!

Dear parent,

I grew up in Canada – a country synonymous with winter. That means tons and tons of snow. When I was a kid, snow meant snowmen, snowball fights, sledding and, of course, snow forts. Giant snow forts. Some might say even neighbourhood legends. Using only shovels and buckets, my friends and I would build these giant snowy structures until our fingers were numb. Today, I get to design fun apps that enable snow-fort making year round – without the need for mittens!

Based on our popular Trucks and Diggers app, Holiday Trucks and Diggers lets you pile up mountains of fresh snow with dump trucks, cranes and bulldozers. You can choose from six mighty machines and dozens of holiday items to create the fort of your dreams - wherever you are.

Best of all? This app is free. It’s our gift to you this holiday season.

Playing Holiday Trucks and Diggers

When the snow starts blowing, we start building! Have fun with your Sago Mini friends in this whimsical winter wonderland. Use the bulldozer, the crane or the funny spinner to load piles of fresh snow into Harvey’s dump truck. When it’s full, drive to the build site and see your snowy fort come to life! Don’t forget to add holiday decorations for the new owner.

To Talk About

Like all Sago Mini apps, there are no levels or time limits, just open-ended play. While playing with your little one, ask questions and make up stories. What kind of snow fort will you build? Who’s driving that bulldozer? How much snow does it take to build a snow fort? What do you enjoy most about snow? Talk about what happens to real-life snow forts when the weather warms. Do snow forts last forever?

Happy Holidays!
