Fairy Tales - Letter to parents

Share a little magic

Dear parent,

Pull a chair up to the fire, and let me tell you the story of a magical little app created just for kids: Sago Mini Fairy Tales! It is our biggest explorer app yet, and as a fan of myth and magic I have to say Fairy Tales is my new favourite.

The fourth in our series of exploration apps, Fairy Tales introduces some fun new elements such as the dress up trunk: dive in and transform into a princess or a knight! From Forest Flyer to Space Explorer, we’ve worked to make each exploration app better than the last. The key is to provide a rich, playful world, but still leave enough space for kids to introduce their own stories.

How to play

Fairy Tales begins outside of Jinja’s cottage. Tap to invite her out to play, and then move your finger across the screen to guide her through a magical forest. As she flies along, little yellow markers appear, each one indicating an animation. There are more than 30 to find. You can also tap anywhere on the screen, and Jinja will fly directly there.

To talk about

When exploring Fairy Tales with your little one, you’ll come across many fun characters. Ask questions. Who lives in that cave? How is Jinja feeling? Who are these other creatures? Also, see if you can find the references to classic fairytale characters like Rapunzel, Humpty Dumpty, and Cinderella!

Enjoy the magic!
